AI consultant in Bangalore
for a team that will read the code
I am in Mumbai, and I work with Bengaluru companies over video calls, WhatsApp and shared links, travelling for the audit and the handover where a project needs it.
I am in Mumbai. No office in Bengaluru, no staff there, and nothing to pretend otherwise. What a Bengaluru buyer usually wants is not a visit anyway. It is a straight answer about what runs where, and who holds the keys afterwards.
This is the one city where the person on the call often has engineers of their own, so this page is written for that conversation. The model runs on a machine you own, inside your own network. The code is yours, in your repository, with documentation written for somebody who will read it. I expect hard questions and I would rather be asked them early than late.
A straight answer about the stack
An open model that runs on your own machine, Agents written as plain services, your records read where they already sit. I will tell you what is running and why before you buy anything.
Handover to your own engineers
Your team gets the repository, the accounts, the deployment notes and a walk through the machine. They can change it without me, which is the whole point of building it this way.
Nothing leaves your network
For a private build, the model, the records and the chat history stay on hardware you own. No outside AI service keeps a copy, and I document who can reach what.
It asks before it acts
Anything that writes a record or sends a message is confirmed by a person first and logged afterwards. The model works out what was meant. Code underneath it makes sure the result is correct.
No per-seat licence
You pay for the build and the machine once. Adding the fiftieth person to the system does not change what you pay each month, which is the opposite of the tools it replaces.
If you have engineers, this is what they will ask
In most cities the buyer is an owner. In Bengaluru there is usually a technical person on the call, and the questions they ask are predictable enough to answer here, in the order they usually come.
The answers are fixed and I give them in writing. An open model on your machine, no outside AI service in the path, records read from where they already live, the whole thing restarting on its own after a power cut, every action logged, and the repository in your organisation from the first commit. Where the honest answer is a limitation, I say so instead of selling around it.
- Which model, and whether it runs on your own hardware
- Where records sit while they are being read
- What happens after a restart or a power cut
- Who holds the repository and the accounts
- What a log entry looks like for a single action
- Whether you can read the prompts the system runs on
- What breaks if I stop answering the phone
- What machine the work needs
A head office in another time zone
Bengaluru has a lot of offices whose parent company is somewhere else. The local team knows exactly what it needs, and the IT policy, the vendor questionnaire and the signature come from a head office that is asleep while you work. Approvals arrive overnight and a question takes a full cycle to answer.
I work with that rather than against it. The audit happens with the local team, in local hours. Anything the parent company has to approve is written as a document they can read without me on the call: what the system is, where the data sits, which accounts exist, what is sent outside and what is not. The parts waiting on a signature get built last.
What a Bengaluru company usually needs built
The need here leans towards internal operations rather than customer-facing work. A private assistant that answers from the company's own documents and says which document the answer came from. Reporting that stops a manager chasing five people. An Agent in the team chat that reads the records so nobody has to open a dashboard. And, in a larger company, a model trained on their own material for one narrow internal job, which no client has bought from me yet.
How it is priced, and what moves the number
There is no rate card. The quote follows the audit and names the machine, the systems, what is connected to what and the handover, with the schedule. What moves it: how many systems you connect, how much of your record keeping needs cleaning up first, the size of machine the work needs, and whether you already own hardware that will do.
There is no monthly software subscription for the systems I build. Care afterwards is quoted separately, and you can stop it without the system stopping, because the machine, the code and the accounts are already yours.

Questions people ask
Are you based in Bangalore?
No. Mumbai is my only office and I have no staff in Bengaluru. In practice most of what a Bengaluru buyer wants is answered in writing rather than in a room. I travel for the audit and the handover where the project needs it.
Which model do you use, and does it run locally?
An open model that runs on the machine on your own premises. I will name it and show you what it can and cannot do during the audit, on your own material, before you commit to anything.
Can our engineers take it over?
Yes, and that is how it is meant to end. They get the repository, the accounts, the deployment notes and a walk through the machine. Nothing in the build depends on me being reachable.
What does AI consulting cost in Bangalore?
There is no fixed rate, because two companies of the same size need different builds. The quote follows the audit. Where your own engineers take over part of the work, the quote says which part and comes down accordingly. There is no monthly software subscription for what I build.
Do we need fine-tuning, or is retrieval enough?
Most companies need retrieval, which means the model reads your documents at the moment of asking. Training a model on your own material pays off for a narrow, repeated job. No client has bought fine-tuning from me yet. The guide explains how to tell which one you have.
Can this pass our parent company's security review?
I cannot promise an outcome and I am not your compliance advisor. What I can do is write down exactly where every piece of data sits, which machine reads it, what is sent outside and who has access, which is usually what the questionnaire is asking for.
Why hire one person instead of an agency?
You get the person who does the work on every call, and a system small enough to hand over. If you need a large delivery team and a managed service contract, an agency is the better fit and I will tell you so.
